When you need it
Online learning can be accessed anywhere anytime.
By delivering the learning experience to the desktop, users can proceed at their own pace. Because they have some control over the information presented, learning becomes relevant to their needs and styles.
Online learning can overcome the limitations of traditional learning methods. For example, classroom learning only allows for a narrow window of opportunity to absorb, attend and reflect on the information. Attention spans can 'wax and wane', instructional consistency can vary across trainers and once completed there is no opportunity to repeat the experience.
Online learning can provide practical solutions to these problems and act as an additional method of learning.
